SINGLE-SHOT RIFLE, serial no. 17810, circa 1900, 26in. nitro reproved (in 2019) octagonal barrel, the top flat engraved 'IMMAN MEFFERT IN SUHL.', selectable three-way bead fore-sight, adjustable and interchangeable notch rear sight, tang-mounted flip-up peep sight, rolling breech with non rebounding central hammer, double-set triggers, border and partial scroll engraving retaining traces of colour-hardening and finish, stylised triggerguard acting as a pistolgrip, figured half-length stock, fore-end with cross-pin release catch, 14in. pull including steel buttplate, sling swivels, weight 6lb. 1oz.
